Following the loss of my beloved Angela on February 7th this year, I hit the very bottom. I've been through innumerable trials and heart aches in life and this TOPS them all. Losing your own child (adult child) is unimaginable. In the last 90 days I have experienced what it's like to be in the deepest darkness there is. Angela was a loving caring young lady caught in the grip of depression and drugs. I miss her every single moment of the day. The PRAYERS of people have been under girding me. I don't know where I would be without them. The pain is immense most days yet if there were no prayers I think despair would be my cup to drink. I have felt the power of prayer over, under, and around me. One dear Christian friend of mine wrote me and asked, "Have you held His hand in the dark?" These simple but profound words blew me away. Read Psalm 23 :4 : Even when I walk through the darkest valley I will not be afraid for You are close beside me." It hurts, every single day, sometimes to the unbearable point, But and Yet HE is always with me.....
