My Father's Heart

When I was a little girl, I believed my dad could do anything. "Daddy please fix this!" "Daddy I lost this!" " Daddy my toy is broke, will you fix it??" I knew without a shadow of doubt he would fix it or he would find the answer for me for my problems. As I grew in maturity and age I still believed that. Although my father and I had a rocky relationship there was one thing I knew about my dad. He would never leave me. He would never stop loving me. He could fix anything!! That was my dad. When I became an adult and was raising my children, my father continued to play a very large role in my life. He would come to my home and hang wallpaper, fix my broken household things and even help me plant flowers. (tears roll down my cheeks as I type this) HOW much more does my heavenly father love me, want to help me , want to fix my broken heart and life? He is infinite and He is everywhere. Yet He is the personal tender hearted father of the universe. To each and every human being who chooses to call out His name! I will always have fond, beautiful memories of my wonderful earthly father and how much he guided me through life. The dark times don't compare to all the good he did for me in my life. I miss him dearly! I thank God He reveals to me more and more every day of His love for me through these memories of my earthly father and so many other ways as well. Thank you Jesus. \0/

Trust Him today and let Him handle your worries, your cares, and your pain. Give Him praise for He is certainly able to carry you in this life and also to teach you how to walk.

My Lord,
I thank you for your words of life you have given me today. I worship Your holy name and praise and thank you for the freedom and life you have given me! In Jesus name, amen.
