Back to the subject at hand.......My house is my life and my heart. My soul. My very character and personality. Uprooting is another way of saying, " I will pull up the weeds and plant new seeds. I will weed your garden." My garden was messy. It had some foreign plants in it. Some plants that were taking up space and were not adding to the beauty of the garden. Some were even suffocating other smaller plants. My garden has not had much fruit being produced in times past. I asked my gardener to dig deep into the soil of this garden and uproot what does not belong there. And....amazingly He took me up on it! I was almost caught off guard. He heard me! It is not all joyous. It is however needed. To produce a fruitful garden, you must allow the gardener inside. How else can you share the wonderful produce with others? If you have nothing but weeds to show?
This land He gave me is my world and the world we live in. Again, this garden He gave me is my my heart, my very soul. I want to have it cultivated. I asked for this. Last night as I was driving home from an event, I said to the Lord, "Bring it on." Everything You have for my life. I want to share His peace. There is no peace in this world. The word says. "There is no peace," says my God, "for the wicked." (Isaiah 57:21) I had no peace. How can we become un-wicked (if you will)? By allowing the great gardener of our souls to come in and take residence.
The word says God is a Jealous God. What does it look like to have God be jealous for us? I imagine it looks pretty intense! Recall how it feels to have a very jealous boyfriend? Recall how it feels to have a jealous earthly father who is super protective? Or a friend who is jealous of you that you have another friend? It is not pleasant. There are good jealousy's and bad ones. Or expressions of them rather. Now just try to imagine God almighty being jealous for you?! He is jealous for us... Why? Because He made us to be in a relationship with Him. Yes, a real, true, daily, and honest relationship. Is this possible? Can we be in one with Him?
Here are a few definitions for jealousy:
an intense interest for another's honour or prosperity (Ps. 79:5; 1 Cor. 10:22; Zech. 1:14). http://www.biblegateway.com/resources/eastons-bible-dictionary/Jealousy
jealousy - jel'-us-i (qin'ah; zelos): Doubtless, the root idea of both the Greek and the Hob translated "jealousy" is "warmth," "heat." Both are used in a good and a bad sense-to represent right and wrong passion. When jealousy is attributed to God, the word is used in a good sense. The language is, of course, anthropomorphic; and it is based upon the feeling in a husband of exclusive right in his wife. God is conceived as having wedded Israel to Himself, and as claiming, therefore, exclusive devotion. Disloyalty on the part of Israel is represented as adultery, and as provoking God to jealousy. See , e.g., Deuteronomy 32:16, 21 1 Kings 14:22;Psalm 78:58 Ezekiel 8:3; Ezekiel 16:38, 42; 23:25; 36:05:00; 38:19:00.

So when it says God is jealous over us..well He has an intense interest in us and wants to communicate with us and be in a real relationship. God is jealous for Irael but He is also wanting ALL people to come to Him. No person is excluded. Not all will come. Many will be deceived and many will think they were saved and will be surprised. "Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?" (Matthew 7:22 NIV)
There are in this day and age many who perform miracles, healings, do teachings and prophecy but they do not seek right living. They do teach truth. They are hungry wolves in sheep's clothing. "Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves (Matt. 7:15). This warning was of utmost importance as Jesus said later, "Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; therefore be shrewd as serpents, and innocent as doves" (Matt. 10:16). The apostle Paul, said a smiliar warning and in tears, "I know that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock" (Acts 20:29).
Times are tough and it will get even more alarming. I would say more but this is enough for now. He promised this;
"You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:13.

Some more scriptures regarding God's jealousy for us: "For the LORD has chosen Jacob for Himself,
Israel for His own possession." (Psalm 135:4) "You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God...” Notice that God is jealous when someone gives to another something that rightly belongs to Him. (Exodus 20:4-5)
