Be At Peace and Fear Not

We do not know what tomorrow holds.

That is a known fact.

Everyone says that

That's common

But it is not common to be in peace when turbulence comes

The Word of God tells us to Be At Peace and Fear Not so many times I cannot count

Yet it is not until our lives really go through  testing on new ground we never walked on that we realize this in a new light.

When times change in your life

It's then you are called by God, (Come child I am waiting for you)  to trust Him in a new way.

It's then you can learn what it means to sit before Him and wait

The silence is no longer difficult

The unknown suddenly becomes peace

You don't need all the answers

In the pain you have joy unspeakable and full of glory

In the fire of testing.

Counted worthy to suffer for His sake

This is light and momentary compared to what my brothers are experiencing all over the world
(Yet all our trials are a light and momentary compared to eternity)
2 Corinthians 4:17

Yet this is my own and I own it

That place where you say, "I can't take anymore."

How many times do we say that?

God says, "I won't give you any more than you can handle."

1 Corinthians 10:13 talks about temptation and James 1:13 says when we are tempted do not say God tempted us.

He tempts no-one.

But when testing comes, which God allows and ordains, we are then tempted in our flesh to:
complain, sulk, give up, get weary, be angry, be bitter, not forgive...many things...that's where 1 Corinthians comes in handy 10:13 comes in handy.

Suffering is inevitable and needed to make good soldiers

Soldiers we are in an army

God works all things for the good!
Romans 8:28

See the goodness of God?

Listen to Him

His voice is not in the whirlwind

His voice is not in the earthquake

But the small still voice is His
See 1 Kings 19 (read whole book!)

It takes being still to hear Him

Only He is with us in the night and the quiet and the solitude, amen?

No-one knows us like He does

......and no-one can love us and speak into our little lives (As Heidi Baker says) like Jesus does
